1. Volunteer Participation
By applying to volunteer with OVC Academy, you acknowledge that participation is voluntary and does not create an employment relationship between you and OVC Academy.
Submission of an application does not guarantee placement in a volunteer role. OVC Academy reserves the right to approve, deny, pause, or discontinue volunteer participation at its discretion.
2. Eligibility
Volunteers must:
Provide accurate and complete information during registration
Meet any minimum age requirements applicable to specific volunteer opportunities
Conduct themselves respectfully and professionally during all volunteer activities
Follow instructions provided by OVC Academy staff and leadership
Additional screening, interviews, background checks, or onboarding requirements may apply depending on the volunteer role.
3. Code of Conduct
All volunteers are expected to:
Treat others with kindness, integrity, and respect
Maintain a positive and professional attitude
Refrain from harassment, discrimination, inappropriate language, or disruptive behavior
Respect the privacy and safety of staff, students, guests, and community members
OVC Academy reserves the right to remove any volunteer who violates these standards.
4. Scheduling & Availability
Volunteer opportunities may vary based on event schedules, ministry needs, and organizational capacity.
While OVC Academy strives to communicate schedules clearly, dates, times, and responsibilities may change at any time.
Volunteers are encouraged to notify the team as soon as possible if they are unable to attend a scheduled commitment.
5. Media & Photography Release
By participating in volunteer activities, you grant OVC Academy permission to capture and use photographs, video recordings, or other media that may include your likeness for promotional, educational, marketing, social media, or website purposes without compensation, unless otherwise prohibited by law.
If you prefer not to appear in media content, please notify the OVC Academy team in writing before participation.
6. Personal Information
Information submitted through this landing page may include your name, email address, phone number, availability, and other volunteer-related details.
OVC Academy will use this information solely for communication, scheduling, volunteer coordination, and organizational purposes in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
